I'm on the fence myself but if your dad actually died I need to spill this out: he was going to die even if he didn't try attempting car wheelies.

Death happens, and there's a good deal ways for it to happen. Your mom will eventually die, your sister if any, forget even your own days are pretty much numbered. Crying doesn't serve anything of use other than spilling your soul out. Sorry if I come off rude but I can see in the future you'll be leaving flowers on your parents' graves.

You hadn't said anything about your dad, but your mom is neglecting. But hey, dad's death is a good excuse to leave a subliminal message while she's away! Have her character whisper "husband's dead, stop neglecting your loving son"!
