Author Topic: [Tutorial] Flat-Shading Models in MilkShape 3D  (Read 17288 times)

Hmm I some how managed to get it to work, try setting it to cubic in title texture mapper.

I...love...you...too?

damm, got to step 8 then crash

Use a updated version of Milkshape.

There is an easier way to flat shade things. Only requires to press 1 button.

Which is...?
Mash you're keyboard until you find it, Dur! Its unweld.

Wouldn't you need to weld it back together after putting off Auto Smooth in the Groups tab?

Not sure what you mean, this model was auto smoothed then I just unwelded and welded

I'll show an example:
Top is welded together
Bottom is un-welded

Eww.  That is a bad example.  That model looks waayyy better with smooth shading.

Is that supposed to be a Zelda64 Zora character?

I was did it like that for the visible difference so I used that model. Also Blockland doesn't work well with Smooth shading.

It is.

All you do is unweld...? :o
