Can somebody explain to me why the area around the sun is hotter than the surface of the sun itself, which basically says "forget you and your family" to the second law of thermodynamics?

A lot of heat is trapped there; and the arches and jets and stuff are actually jets from the much hotter core bubbling up to the surface.

Besides it's a constant temperature 200 times hotter than the rest of the surface, I doubt it'd be constantly like that if it was just jets of sun jizz.
