No I put him in a bunker with dynamite! He has a 50 percent chance that he'll live or die and I don't wanna know '-'

How would you get the dynamite to explode half of the time anyways?

(2)CO2 + H2O/H2 ----> C2H2 + O2

how blowtorches work, kind of

it's more like

CaC2 + (2)H2O => C2H2 + Ca + (2)O2

it's more like

CaC2 + (2)H2O => C2H2 + Ca + (2)O2

Calcium bonded with two carbons reacts rather easily with water
CaC2 + H2O
So you're left over with Ca, O, and 2C and H2. While in their atomic state, they bond together into
C2H2
or acetylene

so CaC2 + H2O => C2H2 + Ca + O

HOLY stuff THATS AN ACTUAL THING?
I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT YEARS AGO (not killing cats but the other nature decides thing)
I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS AN ACTUAL EXPERIMENT

In English we have to fill out stupid packets on tiny stories and they are annoying as HELL. History is just really really boring, and pointless. Why learn about the past when we can learn how to improve the future?
I remember reading a book on why history is important. One man said "If we do not look back at the past and it's crimes, we will repeat those crimes and never learn.". So to simplify for idiots, if we don't study history, we'll do the same bad things over again.

I still find history rather useless, save for that point there.

but history is fascinating

but history is fascinating

It's fascinating; but there's a finite amount of things to learn. With science, there is never an end to the knowledge to be gained.
