Eh, I see your points, but I disagree.

It's not like /support is dismissive or something, it's just a quick way to say I totally agree with you OP.
More like a lazy attempt to show agreement

I wouldn't say lazy, but it's your opinion.

Just like its only ment to show support to an op and not a typical post, right?

No, it is pretty lazy. It might be fine in Suggestions and Requests, but not really in Drama.

/support

I kinda agree. It fits for Suggestions and Requests but for Drama it should be more involved/intellectual than that.

Yeah, like you support it, but you can't find words to say about it or you didn't know the person being drama'd or didn't see the actions.

While we're at it, can we shine "/discuss" with the spotlight too?

what's the issue with /discuss

...When you post a topic on a public forum, it's pretty obvious you want people to discuss it?

/discuss is probably x10 worse than /support

My point still stands.

That I agree with.

No it doesn't. No one is forcing you to actually post.

What if people want to express their opinion?

Just saying, don't take any offense.

What if people want to express their opinion?
If they wanted to express an opinion they would have said something more worthwhile than '/support'. That's not an opinion.

In the spirit of this topic, quoting something you agree with and then reposting the quote should count as spam.

It actually adds nothing at all to the topic. If you share an opinion with somebody, you should just say "I agree" or even a simple "Yes"
I'm not sure I could possibly agree with this sentiment any more. Although I think "This." is just as bad as nothing.

Hm, I see your points. I am shifting to your side now.

I know I'LL be descriptive with my posts, but I highly doubt that the whole community will change with one thread, just saying.
