That is kind of a bullstuff achievement if you think about it since its only about luck that Badspot someday joins his server when a lot of people are there.
Badspot joined my server not too long ago, when their were only like 2 people on it.
Didn't do anything and left shortly after spawning though.
Also Garry's mod has a similar achievement

I was thinking about this

Yeah but doesn't that Achievement mean you just have to be in the same server as Garry. Whereas I'm pretty sure Tonkka is referencing DarkLight's achievement mod where he has to join your server. Either way it would just cause trouble for Badspot with people trying to join his server just to get the achievement, or spamming the server lists with "Badspot, please join!"

If You Build It
Have a total of 32,000 bricks in your server

They Will Come
Have a total of 64,000 bricks in your server

Blockland Blockmasters Club
Have a total of 128,000 bricks in your server

as long as loading the bricks doesn't count

Whereas I'm pretty sure Tonkka is referencing DarkLight's achievement mod where he has to join your server.
Everyone on the server that he joins gets the achievement, because the add-on is installed and runs on the server.
An official achievement would obviously work differently, and no, Darklight didn't have to be on YOUR server. Achievements were stored on the server, not the client. That would've made it impossible for everyone but the hosts of their own servers to get that achievement. Darklight joining any server running the achievement add-on gave everyone on the server the achievement, for that server. Because it's an add-on.

How much does it cost to put a game onto steam, non-greenlight way?

You can't because they want you to go through greenlight.
However, I'm sure you don't just pay them and they throw it up there. You've got to talk with them, show them an interesting game, and make a deal on how much % you're going to be giving them.

C'mon guys! Vote this game up!

Blockland is a virus. Credible source, folks.

I don't know why you guys bother reading the comments.

So you find someone who is being positive about it and knows what they're talking about. So what? We have their vote, who cares?
So you find someone who is being an idiot, so what? They're either trolling or incredibly stupid. You can't do anything about it.

You are just going to make yourselves angry and start an argument, and possibly steer people away from the game.

awdax i agree with your post, but this annoyed me a little bit:
You can't do nothing
