''no time to explain'' got greenlighted woo

totally buying it if it's not more than $5

Nope: http://store.steampowered.com/news/9478/?snr=1_550_552&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Hopefully next time.

Every month the chance we get Greenlit increases. Last time we were around 40th place. Now there are thirteen games out of the way, and we are probably somewhere around the 27th spot.

This is just plain unfortunate. I blame minecraft and roblox...

The annoucement about the greenlighting this day said it would be only the top 10. . .

Then Valve is on a base 13 system.

And? My point is that we're getting closer each time. There is also the fact that our spot in the ranks can always change and get closer to the top ten, or thirteen.

I keep thinking we don't get added because of the videos of the bedroom and maps when the current version doesn't have any of that, and that could be called a form of false advertising.

Fillipe said he was gonna make a new trailer I'm sure, but this was months ago.

forget I was almost finished the blockland trailer but my computer died right before I was going to back it up >:(

Chances are that the people who run Steam Greenlight don't test out the games. They likely wouldn't even know that we don't have terrain/interiors anymore.

And it's not like those videos say "Hey, come play Blockland, that game with interiors and terrain!".
We're not advertising them.
We're advertising what Blockland is. A lego-style block building game. All the old videos which might contain pictures of terrain and interiors still show what Blockland is. They still advertise the fact that this is a game for building and for playing in your buildings.

Plus, who here actually purchased Blockland because it had terrain and interiors? I'd wager no body.
We all bought it because it's a block building game.
Those of us saying we shouldn't include the interiors/terrain in any images of Blockland are only really saying so because they enjoyed interiors/terrain. And enjoying that was a byproduct of enjoying Blockland. It shouldn't have been the thing that made you enjoy Blockland. And if it was, then you were likely missing the main point of Blockland.

There won't be anyone who purchases Blockland after seeing those videos who goes "Oh what a complete rip-off. I was promised terrains. What a con-man! Give me the interiors".
And if someone happens to purchase Blockland because they want interiors/terrain then they obviously don't know what they are buying nor do they have any real sense of why they are buying it.

It's a shame we didn't get in, but nevermind!

A month from now and we ought to be looking towards a late-Christmas/New-Years Greenlighting!
And who doesn't want an exciting new adventure like Steam to kick off 2013 for Blockland.

Everyone should just keep on promoting the game however they can and telling their friends to vote!
