Also I misread a game Boobs STD Deluxe.

Since Torque is open source is there a better chance Badspot would update Blockland to Torque 3D in the future? He could probably just port shaders into Torque 3D if that works.

No. This, time and time again, has been called a stupid idea because it is one. Blockland would have to be rewritten. Plus, both Badspot and Kompressor have worked in medium to high level positions in Garagegames. Money is no object in Garagegames licenses, it's about how well the engine fits the game. T3D does not fit the game. Also, T3D was open source for anyone who has the engine.
