They're all hand picked, there is no strict guidelines to being greenlit.
I think it would be fair to speculate (based on the existence of the old Progress Scale and the Rankings available to Uploaders) that the games are chosen by being the top voted and/or the top highest vote-rates.
I don't think they even bother looking through feedback in the comments. That sounds a poor idea. You'll only get stupid comments, lots of bias and you'd take a very long time to check. Also, how can you compare between two products based on nigh-on identical comments about it?
Also haven't the last few updates been about 15-20-ish done at once?
I wouldn't hold my breath necesarilly on being picked tomorrow if our ranking is #31 (although we could be).
But I do see us getting a February release, assuming we don't slip down the polls (or others don't surpass us).
Let's be conservative and say that 15 get chosen. That jumps us to #16. We may still increase in rank in the time to the next greenlighting.
