You awake on a shoddy raft with annoying back pains. Your raft isn't very comfortable, and you don't remember a thing before waking up.

You don't know your name, where you are or how you acquired the raft in the first place. It's quite strange to not know anything.



The island you have landed on is tiny, and it has a strange amount of pine trees for being in a tropical location. You see something blue, and something bright on the top of a cliff.


You are wearing a ripped white T-shirt, Salty Jeans and you do not have any shoes. There is a knife to your left. It appears to be floating in the air for some weird reason.

What shall you do?

Your name is Saul T. Bals, and you are a hardened seafarer with a passion for exploration.

You pick up the knife and explore the blue and bright things.

A weird name, but good enough for now. You pick up the knife and head towards the blue thing.


It's emitting a strange humming sound, and it hurts to look at it for more than a few seconds.

You get the feeling that it's very magical, and that somehow you're going to be able to get rid of it.

Moving on, you climb up the hill to see the bright thing.

It turns out it's a lamp. You ponder how it stays lit without any visible wires.

After staring into the light and hurting your eyes even further, you see a white tool on a rock. It looks completely useless in every way possible.

It's tough cutting through metal, but you persist for a bit and you finally cut through it.

Lo and behold, it has a live wire through it. You got zapped when cutting through it, but it didn't hurt that badly.

Now what?

Go back to the blue minerals, try chipping away at them with your knife. If it doesn't work, explore some more.

After walking around the island, you find a valve in a base jutting from the ground.

What should you do with it?

turn it a little, go back to lamp base and minerals, if not turn valve again and repeat until you get a result

You turn the valve a little bit, and then it starts turning itself and then stops. You then hear something make a "VOOM" sound.

You cut yourself in a fit of confusion.

After bleeding from your forehead, you collect blood in a pouch you fashioned out of bits of your shirt and a string that was sticking out from your jeans.
