Help me decide between Macbook Air or Macbook Pro.

Hey guys, so I need to buy a new Macbook. And no, no matter what you say, it wont stray my opinion away. I don't want Windows.


I'm currently looking at the entry level pro, just because I have 3 other computers (a 15" macbook pro, an iMac and a custom built windows gaming rig) for the majority of my very stressful work.


Here's what I plan on buying, and what I plan on using it for;

I might toss an SSD in there too for stuffs and giggles.

Anyway, my main uses for this;

• Internets
• Music composition (Ableton Live, Logic, Traktor, FL Studio and a few other DAW's.)
• Bus powered audio controllers (novation launch pad, traktor kontrol, traktor maschine)
• music
• very VERY rarely cs:s

like i said, my opinion wont be strayed, but i'm not sure if I need the macbook pro, or if i'd be fine with the air for these things? I'm going to be doing the majority of my computer stuff on the iMac.

No Apple spent millions of dollars in marketing to convince hipster friends like OP that a song you made sounds better or a video you edited looks better if you made it on a Mac, even if the same god damn software is available on other platforms.
