the game honestly looks like crap, the 2d version looks even worse. the 2d version isnt even that similar to minecraft. junk jack came out before the mc app and was far better.

you can't really say that X is a rip-off of Y, because honestly, now a days there's no such thing as an original idea. it's all been thought of or done already. if you go with the misconception that every game with building blocks is a rip off of minecraft, and anything with a gun and 1 hit knife kill is a washed up call of duty, then i mean... well, this is the only thing i can use to describe what you're going to do;

Yes we get he was inspired from Minecraft, but who gives a stuff is what were talking about. Youre all happy to complain about him stealing from MC but then people jump to Notchs defense when it comes to the fact he was inspired from Infiniminer, like theres some huge difference.

when i think of voxels, i don't think of a three dimensional grid-based world system. however i do think of squares. i don't know if i've been told wrong but minecraft and it's derivatives aren't voxel based, just block/cube based. voxels are an alternative rendering method, where instead of polygons (like minecraft uses), it draws a bunch of specifically layered points to create the illusion of 3D, like in Ace of Spades.
