What kind of headphones should I get, suggest me a good brand please, as my old headphones that I got for my birthday broke last summer. 3:

getting them for my pc, are you sure it will be good?

Turtle Beaches, have 'em and use them for PC.
Be a bit fragile with them and use them.
They're fine.

Turtle Beaches work fine for me, but I was stupid enough to get X12's instead of P11's (the difference being X=Xbox and P=PS3), but I'm sure they both work on PC. But I've heard that Astros are better, so it all comes down to personal preference.

I don't like turtle beaches because they're too heavy for a headset. The pair that my brother has irritate my ears and it drives me up the wall.

While this thread is active, anyone know of any headphones with a detachable/re-attachable microphone?
I don't have any input on this, I've only ever had crappy headphones.

yo dr dre my niga dat stuff bass da forget out!!!!!!

in all seriousness those are way overpriced i don't even know why people buy them

I spent $20 bi-yearly buying some cheap and cheerful headphones that have fine sound quality and can be thrown about.

I can understand if people want noise cancelling headphones, think they can find a brand with better bass, and want a microphone on them etc for gaming. Personally I don't bother.

Maybe I just got lucky finding budget headphones that don't sound like tin cans. Who knows.
