One is a special interest and one is an obsessive love for a children's show.
Both fandoms have a loveual aspect, and both fandoms are far more than just that.
No, one is not just a special interest, and one is not just a love for a show. There's more to it for both.
society
non acceptable loveual practices are the ones that people would go "wow you're a forgetin weirdo" at (that's you guys)
Society is constantly changing it's opinions, with differing opinions in different areas. Society is also not one unit, but an amalgamation of many; each with seperate opinions. Hence, subjective.
There are plenty of special interestes that I find strange, fursuit love on the top of the list, but to call someone "not a human" just because they like something I find weird is pretty low.
Like this stuff:
if i had a son that was a furry i'd put him up for adoption
The fact that you'd get someone out of your life for something that simply doesn't matter is disgusting
furry == bestiality
Bestiality is wrong because it often involves unconsenting animals put in pain; whether it be by being kept in a position painful for them, or by an object being forced into a hole to small.
Furry, at its worst (fursuit love) involves consenting adults. At the common level of furry as a special interest, it involves some guy looking at images where no real being was hurt.
