In most cases i play as a medic class, even here in Borderlands 2 i play Maya and i put skillpoints in the medical assistance tree (as i like to call it, can't wait till i get instant phaselock revive).

E - Tech = Experimental Tech...at least according to Dr. Zed (and yes it does use eridium)

speaking of e-tech guns does anyone know how to get them (maybe a quest or drop from a boss?)

edit: i just did some research all e-tech guns are magenta (as in the color of the name) and have multiple effects like, homing bullets that bounce off of walls and electrocute... i hope that helps a bit
