Author Topic: I might be going to Italy next summer for school.  (Read 1627 times)

I got a letter in the mail offering me the opportunity to go to Italy for school in the summer of 2013. At first I thought to myself "Hell no" because I'd literally be in school over the summer, but then I figured it probably wouldn't be school with core classes such as Math and Science due to the fact that it doesn't count towards my GPA and such.
Anywho, I'm going to some informational meeting in October so my parents can figure out how much it will cost, what I'll be doing, ect. Im hoping the cost isn't something ridiculous, because I'm really interested in going to this.

Tell me the organization

lollolololol
Oh god
haha
have fun

No in my opinion its completely bogus and handicapped

Wasn't this proven as a scam a while ago?
Do they just steal your children

I remember getting one of those for Australia. Never went, sounded like a scheme to kidnap people and sell them on the market as love slaves.

I got one of these in the mail last year saying I'd be able to go to the England, Wales, and Ireland for school.

Nothing ever happened, it's a scam.

Oh it's people to people? I hear it's really fun, but yeah I think you need to pay for plane tickets or such

I've done a little research. Most people who go said it was fine, just pricey.

And it's not like I'd be going to Iran or some god forsaken country in the middle of Africa, it's Italy. I actually have cousins there, so my parents will probably arrange something.

They send a letter to everyone its just stupid, you should find a real study abroad program
