I'm so glad that I saw this thread, I'm gonna organize an exploration trip soon.

I'm in Seattle, if anyone wants to join in. I'd like to find an abandoned site. Idk if I want to do sewers or that kinda thing.

there's only one building in my town that's abandoned. i want to explore it, but i dont have a cellphone or a respirator.

Do you know any background on the building? Like whats its been used for?

Me and my cousin had neither of those at all and we went into a ton of buildings.

Almost all abandoned buildings around here are very old prisons filled with homeless people.

My dad used to own a giant abandoned factory complex in the city but I don't know what happened to it. I assume at some point it was repossessed for taxes.

edit: According to our good friend Google Maps the complex was demolished at some point in time. What a shame.

My father has done demolition of other similarly large abandoned factories in the area and it was always fun to explore inside of them to see all the crazy old stuff left laying about.

The only explorable area is a storm drain full of graffiti and I have been through it 80 times and it's nasty and slimy and full of HUGE spider webs but it can be fun. Also watch out for stashes of things like drugs or spray paint because I have stolen spray paint and gotten followed and spraypaint was stolen from the side of my house and I found it destroyed by the storm drain. Also watch out for crack pads that come with homeless people

Pretty near me, there's an abandoned train tunnel with a satanist camp inside... A boy went in, and tomorrow the newspaper had an article about him - in pieces.
