Gundam has some badass suits holy stuff. The Gouf, G-Cannon, Zaku II, Hizack, and Hardygun designs are my favorites for now.

The best non-Gundam designs in Gundam are the SUMO, Jegan (and derivatives like the ReZEL), Gouf/Custom, and Zaku II IMO.

I kind of count the Hyaku Shiki as a Gundam, but if you don't you can throw that in there too.
