"This is my first mission flying this thing. So far it handles like a dream."

Guess I'll just fly this on my own. :I

I start the B-52s 8 engines and slowly taxi to the active runway. When I receive my takeoff clearance I push the power levers up with the help of the co-pilot and engineer. The beast slowly creeps down the runway getting about 3/4 of the way down before barely getting off the ground. My voice comes over the comms. I grunt, "Thunder 0-1 is airborne."

"Roger that. Maintain current heading to attack enemy radar facilities. We'll escort you."

"Thunder 0-1, I've got your seex."

I follow Thunder 0-1 on the starboard side.

I follow Thunder 0-1 on the port side.
"Target in sight. Heavy SAM defenses bordering. Lasing the SAMs now."
I lase the SAM sites, waiting for Bulldog 3-6 to take them out.

I quickly swoop down toward the SAMs, launching several Laser Guided Missiles, taking them out with ease, "Four down."

I wipe the sweat off of my head, "Thanks, Bulldog. 5 minutes to target."

"Interceptors. I'll take 'em."
I move to engage a flight of five MiG-21s.

I follow suit, trailing Talon 3-1.

Claire stayed at base this mission, due to catching the flu

"Lock on... Fox 2, fox 2!"
I fire a heat-seeking missile, the missile hitting the MiG head-on, killing the pilot and ripping the airframe apart.
