I grunt as my engines take some damage. I could fly, but not too quickly. Too much and the poor girl could blow. I use my guns to batter the plane of my would-be assailant, trying to get a lock. I see the holographic letters and I let two missiles fly.

I manage to bank out of the missiles, firing the machine gun at the right wing. It's on the verge of falling off.

Crow 9 takes out the final engine of the 130, causing it to lose altitude quicker.

A Yellow hits the fuel tanks of the 130, causing a chain explosion that breaks the tail off. The 130 is down.

"Any Crow that is still alive, retreat, we're done here and we have too much damage on our hands. We're going to celebrate tonight, we did a fine victory."

Crow Squadron retreats back to the base, for repairing.

It's like playing God and saying something happened that you can't control, that only the other can control.
"Mission failed! Dammit, cover the 130!"
I see the 130 scrape against the ground, thankfully undestroyed.
"130 pilots, do you read me?!"

It's basically when you do something without giving the person a chance to react.  For instance, when you fire missiles at the C130, you automaticaly assume that they hit when realistically, the plane would have dumped flares.

So yeah let's say the 130 is still in the air

I make it a ways out, relaxed until I see the dogfight going on. "Holy stuff!" I strap on my oxygen. I drop my payload and turn around, returning to base full power.

Oh. I feel powerless then. I should join your side, can I?

Let me shoot you down over base and we'll see c:

Got it. Crow Squadron, get back, we're done. However, we're going to join our enemys.

Crow Squadron's remaining planes circle the base, waiting for the impending 'boom'.

I fire my guns, damaging their planes just enough so that they have to bail out.

So I can join the team? c:
