Author Topic: Could a NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M run shaders on max somewhat smoothly?  (Read 1008 times)

Sometimes I can run them fine but sometimes they're slow. Can someone please tell me?

Did you update to 306.23?

Did you update to 306.23?
A new driver update? Hm, when was it released?

Did you update to 306.23?
if he already has 28#.## he should be fine running blockland shaders

But mine is 540M. Are you sure it's compatible?
He listed the wrong driver and you should look it up here

Nevertheless, should always update. Who knows, could fix his problem.

Yes ,I searched driver updates for the 540M specifically.

Oh yes, checked it out. But anyways back ontopic, should my graphics card be able to run max shaders?

yes
it's a geforce 500M series
if a geforce 8 series can run shaders i'm sure as hell the 500m series can

unlikely, considering the 500M series had OpenGL 4.1 right off the bat while blockland only needs 2.1+

No, it's fine. He's right, I'll update tomorrow.

Maybe updating will speed it up.
