I like the bit with the lightning.
I don't -- for a couple of reasons.
The logo in itself actually isn't bad - it's a really cool concept! A couple things I would try, as I haven't really figured out what specifically I would fix yet:
- Try making the black circle a hexagon
- Make the lightning bolt white, and make it outlined in black so when it goes onto the circle it just contrasts straight with it, but when it goes outside of the circle, it transforms into its "own" object, so to speak. Not sure how to describe it, but give it a shot.
- There's something that bugs me about the positioning of the lightning. You should try to... not center objects, but make them fit together so there's nothing awkwardly protruding. Here's an example of a logo I just made a week ago (my friend and I are gonna sell custom computers pretty soon):

That being said, I do like this logo and its concept very much. What I would suggest is spacing it a little differently.edit: I guess it actually looks spaced pretty well. :o never mind I'm a back door
but consider my two other tips
Make some badass shading and boom
Your half way done
could be cool if done well with vector shapes. give it a shot, night :D
