so I made this thing

but see, I don't really know what to do with it
neither in terms of what else to change or how to use it

but anyway what should I make different? if anything

I see no image. Is it just me?

I like the bit with the lightning.

I don't think dropbox is the best place for image hosting

pretty bland. mightn't be so bothering if the stroke on the bolt didn't have those flat corners

I like the bit with the lightning.
speaking of the bolt, would it look better solid, or outlined like it already is?
and I'm considering a different color, like navy blue. but I have this weird feeling that it just should be bright green...

it probably isn't. I only hosted it there because it was convenient, since I was also planning on uploading the .svg of it
yeah that's what I meant about removing the bevel, I don't like it either

Make some badass shading and boom

Your half way done

I like the bit with the lightning.
I don't -- for a couple of reasons.

The logo in itself actually isn't bad - it's a really cool concept! A couple things I would try, as I haven't really figured out what specifically I would fix yet:

- Try making the black circle a hexagon
- Make the lightning bolt white, and make it outlined in black so when it goes onto the circle it just contrasts straight with it, but when it goes outside of the circle, it transforms into its "own" object, so to speak. Not sure how to describe it, but give it a shot.
- There's something that bugs me about the positioning of the lightning. You should try to... not center objects, but make them fit together so there's nothing awkwardly protruding. Here's an example of a logo I just made a week ago (my friend and I are gonna sell custom computers pretty soon):

That being said, I do like this logo and its concept very much. What I would suggest is spacing it a little differently.

edit: I guess it actually looks spaced pretty well. :o never mind I'm a back door
but consider my two other tips

could be cool if done well with vector shapes. give it a shot, night :D

just the black circle, right? edit: just the black one looks weird. did you mean both?
okay, I'll try that, and the other thing too
Make some badass shading and boom
Your half way done
I will try
Master, please teach me how to forget up this badly.
go here
http://db.tt/LufiIdhS
copy the image url of that

I didn't have any other way to embed the image, bc for some reason the mobile version of dropbox doesn't supply you with a direct link to the image's url like the website does (I should've thought of using the real website on my phone, but it's a bit late for that)
I fixed the OP anyway

okay, here's the first version of the second version

You can turn that "n" into a house.
