Author Topic: The Eye of the Storm [Now without a CS:S joke.]  (Read 15388 times)

I walk up to the front doors, and see a lock. Knowing that I have secret lock-picking skills, I pull out my also secret bobby pin and quickly pick the lock, on enter I yell at the top of my lungs; "IM FRIENDLY! DON'T HURT ME, AND I WILL SHARE SOME FOOD!"

edit: updated my char yo

I bust through a door to a building. Basing from the interior, it appeared to be a small school. "Not a good idea..." I say, wiping my eyes.

Inside the purse I find 2 bobby pins, a pen, some useless notes, and keys. I throw out the notes because they don't mean anything to me, and I rip a sleeve off the coat and wrap it around my face with the pins on the side. I now have a facemask and can probably go outside.
There was a small kiosk at the end of the food court where I could find a map, usually plastered with useless areas and written all over, but it was all I could find. There was a slam at the door and I knew I had to hurry to the kiosk.

I retreated all the way to the door, which was honestly a bad idea. With a fail slide over one of the cashier areas I looked into the storm. I looked back, listening to the panting of the fat follower. Ignoring the fact he's going to get knocked out if I sneeze on him, I pull the doors open and rush off into the storm.

I finally reach the front entrance, but strangely, he's not there. I hope that he'll come back some day, so I can finally have a companion. Slowly, I walk back to the meat locker, and continue my nap.

"Why the hell am I on vacation when this happens. Why."
I walk out of the Ritz Carlton, nabbing a shipment of food that landed in front of the hotel.
"Ha, yes."
I drag it back in.

"Balls, balls, balls, balls-" I said before I collided with the hood of a car, knocking all of the wind out of me. I coughed and pulled myself into the unlocked vehicle. I couldn't see anything out of the windows and there was some dust inside, but I had a chance to breath. "Assistance needed!" I shouted as I honked the horn.

I sigh, my fingernails clacking on the desk in my apartment. I sip the coffee in my mug, unsure of what I was waiting for. I'd already stockpiled some food in my house, enough for maybe a month or two. I'd have to go out eventually.

I sat, honking the horn, coughing a bit. I was bored. I hit that hood HARD, and if somebody didn't come to the rescue I'd have to take a nap before I'd stop gasping. I'd take a bandit if I had to. My prayers were answered and the passenger door opened. It was my least favorite option that had arrived. Somebody with a bloody knife. "STOP HONKING!" he hissed as he brushed some dust off of his ski mask and baseball cap which he was wearing over the mask. I did as told. After he had finished dusting himself off, he looked at me. "Now..." he said before grabbing my neck and shoving me into the door, my head slamming against the window. "Give me any food you've got on you!" he ordered. "I don't have any!" I panicked. "BULL!" he shouted before slamming my head into the window again. Both my hands were grabbing his arm, the one that held me against the window. The idiot didn't bother to get my hands restricted. I threw my left hand against the steering wheel, honking the horn again. It was going for a solid two seconds before he pressed my hand up against my neck to hold both at the same time. "NOW... FOOD!" he shouted. God has answered my calls, and a bullet whizzed through the window and struck him in the head, killing him instantly. Dust poured into the window fast, so I threw him off of me and scurried away as a few more bullets struck the car. "WE GOT HIM!" I heard behind me as I vanished into the storm.

TL;DR
My honking attracted a hungry bandit that got shot by another bandit that also heard the honking. I'm now running through the storm, looking for safety.

I heard faint honking down the road. I decided to ignore it, and it stopped. Heard a gunshot though.
"How unpleasant."

Joining this, I know New York inside out.

Kinda.

I ran until I was about to puke. I decided to just run into the nearest door. I fell into it and dropped, but I kicked the door closed behind me. I puked a bit, wiped my mouth off and then looked around. An apartment, oh goody. I walked up to the window thingy and rang the little bell, expecting service.

I walk off to the cafeteria to search for food.

Disappointed about not getting service, I start ascending. "Hello?" I ask at every other door as I go one floor up, walk down the hall and walk back. "Anybody here?"

I gently set down my mug, hearing a voice. I ready my knife, hoping whoever is down there isn't a raider. Sounded like he needed help though. I decided not to trust him. Wasn't the first time somebody tried using that trick on me.
