Author Topic: Letting a 7 Year Old play a Rated M Game?!  (Read 3134 times)

I played Doom when I was 5, scared the stuff out of me.
Came back 2 years later.

I remember playing the original Halo at age...

Actually, I don't remember what age. All I can remember is that I was stuck in the first stage, didn't know how to turn on my flashlight, and always used the pistol.

Maybe I was like 5 or 6 or something.

But after that, I wasn't allowed to play M games till about age 11 if they had no loveual content in them, or extreme gore.

Now I can buy everything except GTA :3

CoD is a shooter, it's only rated M because of language and killing.

A guy in year 2 on my bus plays COD.
Wtf.

haha i played gta sa when i was younger

i totally didn't turn into a black guy who steals and kills!

I'm 15 years old and my parents let me play M-rated games because they know I can handle them.

The question is
why do people even play CoD?

I seriously want to punch him.

I'm 14 and I'm allowed to play M games

Violent games don't screw up kids minds whoever thinks that is handicapped

Those who rate the games too

Tip
Compare a G rated game to a similar rated movie
You'll want to Self Delete

I was playing games like Quake 3 Arena since I was like, five.  And look at me, I turned out fine!

Uh, isn't M meant to be 'recommended people under 15 parental supervision" ?
Or maybe it's just Americas stuff is different, I know PG is 13+ over there when it means like 4+ here.

I was playing way worse games when I was little, people need to toughen up these days.
