Author Topic: Valve receives a present from WETA Workshop  (Read 1112 times)

Valve obtained a crate from WETA Workshop the other day (the guys responsible for the TF2 laser items) and with the help of their handy-dandy Mann Co. Supply Crate Key (read: drill) they popped it open

inside, if you're too lazy to watch the video or just want to spoil it, was a beautiful life-sized Portal turret, complete with motion sensors, sounds, and a (non-lethal) attack mode

it's adorable

Nice, now make it with a lethal attack mode.

I'm sorry, what is WETA?
They make amazing props for movies. Seriously skilled people.

Didn't they also make a Warthog for those Halo 3 commercials?

I misread the title as "Valve receives a present from PETA Workshop"

It would be pretty cool if they did some live action portal with it
