Author Topic: I loving hate my Biology Class  (Read 4076 times)

Today is the day where everything just boiled over for my biology class.

A little back-story about my biology class before I get into what happened today, our biology class is full of kids who just don't give a stuff about the class all together. They roughhouse when they aren't supposed to, don't follow directions, and they always pick on the smartest of the class (me).

[rant] Today is where thing really started boil over, as said before. The class was fooling around because it was a half day, and they really didn't care. The teacher had to at least talk to them about 7 times to stop fooling around. It was when we were taking some notes down when the problem reached its pinnacle. We had about 7 - 5 minutes before the bell, and the teacher clearly said we would be taking notes until the bell rang. It was when the clock reached 4 minutes until the bell when everyone started to pack up to go. I start to hear a chorus of papers shuffling and zippers zipping. I still had my notes out, and I was waiting until the teacher was done. The teacher stopped talking, she was really fed up with it all. She then spends the last few minutes just telling us how offended she is as a teacher to see everyone acting rude and disrespectful. I agreed with her, it wasn't very respectful at all. She went to her desk in frustration. Everyone except for me, got up out of their seats, some went to the door, and others left before the bell. When I came out of that room, something inside of me felt like a pressure cooker that needed to vent.

I feel really bad for her, and really furious at my class. It shows the true ignorance of my generation. I know that's a bit of a generalization, but I've seen many people like that in my generation. [/rant]

I have a strong feeling this will happen again.

There is no tl;dr for the lazy, so just read it and reply or don't read and reply at all.

I agree with OP.
I feel sorry for every supply teacher, and every new teacher we have, because my class act as complete nutters and think they can do what they want.
School's for learning, not for confirming how much ignorance you have in your body and how much of an idiot you are.

I hate kids like those in your class. They are either very stupid or have such swollen egos that they feel they need to disrespect anything and everyone. It was like that for me 2 years ago, my classmates never cared about their education, which was obvious. I always felt like I was the only one who payed attention.

I know how you feel, OP. I hate it when these kind of things happen.

The world culture class (last one in thursday, mind you) had people talking nonstop and two of them blasting music when the teacher tried to explain to us christianity and something I didn't catch because of all the loving dumbasses. They even went "whtqf i only have one silnet s0ong!@111" when the teacher called them out.

I have a strong feeling this will happen again.

oh my god
i think you're in my class

i don't know anyone whos 15 in my class so f nevermind

but god this is EXACTLY how today went.

Possibly you should make it clear that you care about the class, and you, if alone, appreciate her efforts. Keep taking good notes, and try not to let classmates get to you. If you can bring yourself to do it, sympathize with them on some level. They're being forced to do one of the last things they would choose to spend their time doing. Resenting the teacher is one of few ways for them to vent their frustration.

go to college it's totally different B)

Reminds me of my 12th grade English teacher. A lot of troublemakers hated her because she was the only teacher who never hesitated to do what she was supposed to do. While most teachers would give several warnings to people talking in class, she wouldn't hesitate to send them out to the hall.
But for people who did follow the rules and stayed on her good side she was awesome.
She was also my homeroom teacher 9-12th grade and she would always bring in food for the class even though it was against the rules, and at the end of 12th grade she invited everyone to a party at her house.

I pack up before the bell rings too. You dont sound like you would be very popular, I can imagine you sitting at your desk angry that kids arent listening to the teacher.

It's very rude to do that when a teacher is trying to teach you something. If you are doing that and there is no work to do, then it's okay, I guess.

I guess you're one of the people Kochie, me, Headcrab AND Facepalm hate.
A lot.
Either way, all these people probably do for a living is watch fake wrestling and be terrible learners.

Yeah, they pack up early they will go nowhere in life.

Also if they were able to make a living off of watching fake wrestling and being terrible learners, we should all admire them because they have life figured out.

Please be constructive, I'm already a kicked hornets nest, still swarmed with hornets.
