The dragon is approximately the same size as the wizard, if not an inch or two taller, disregarding the horns. Regarding the horns, holes could be cut out where it pokes out of the armor, and have a hood on top of the helmet to cover up the horns.

Wizard is around 6 feet, dragon is around 7 feet. The hat height is messing with you! The hood covers the horns in such a way that it doesn't poke out.
