The thing that I don't get is when your dad passes away, wouldn't you like to stay away from these forums? If you know a thing or two about the forums, the majority of the people aren't really supportive. I'd look for help from people face to face, not over computer-based interaction.

which brings me to what people have said many times. If you were this shy you'd have absolutely no friends, which I highly doubt. The shyest people I've ever known have some friends. Get help from the friends you have, I know you have at least one.
