I've been hit by both in the head as well.
then walnuts are nothing and this story is fake

And no it doesn't count, the walnuts while in their cases hurt a larger area and can sometimes cause a K-O if you hit someone right.
no they don't. When a paintball hits, it's area of impact and inertia will cause it to have some collateral damage. It's also traveling like x30 faster than you could ever throw a walnut. They cause bruises. They hurt. It's also fun as hell.

Possible death if hit in temple area.
Trust me, whatever damage a wallnut can do, a paintball can do much worse.

So no.

the earth hit my head. stop being a pusillanimous individual walnuts cant cause K.O
If hit right.

And I don't think you people know what I'm talking about when I say walnuts in their shell.
I'm talking about these

They can be big or small, it depends on how long they grow.
We use the big ones with a thick shell and until they dry up they aren't soft at all.

@ Dez, just forget off. You can't act like you know something until you've actually experienced something.
I've seen both Painball bruises and Walnut(still green and hard) bruises.
A walnut bruise is a bit bigger.
And a Airsoft gun pfft, those things don't leave much but a sting.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that walnuts hurt more than paint balls?

dude, what? seriously?

i just looked up a comparison of walnuts to a quarter, they're no bigger. and no you can't knock anyone out with a walnut. dez is right paintballs can do a lot more than your stuffty walnut so stop trying to prove a point that you dont have.

Are you not getting what I mean?
With the green part on, not after they ripen and are edible.
If I'm right its called the husk of it, its a half inch thick green layer that is tough to remove.
And no with the husk they are not a quarter sized... They can be pretty big.

oh come on, they're not even that painful. Man up.

I didn't realize that you've been pelted with them before.
Btw the husk are not the walnut, they are a tough outer shell meant to stop things from getting in.
"he nuts are covered by a hard green hull that is exceedingly difficult to remove and besides, will stain your hands, clothes and work surface a quite persistent grubby colour."

the size of a quarter. i'd love to give you a physics exam but it would fly right over your head.

I didn't realize that you've been pelted with them before.
Mate, I don't know about you, but I've been punched in the nose before. I can guaranteeing you that walnuts aren't that painful.

Why does Alyx Vance always forget himself over? It makes me lol.

With the husk on...
I know the actual thing inside of it is no bigger than a quarter but the whole thing is bigger than that.
I've picked up some still in husk and it was a pretty good size.

they're the size of a quarter or a 50c coin. it probably only weighs a few grams too and if you throw it it will only go so far, and throwing it at someone it will bounce off. ever hear of kinetic energy and density?

kinetic energy and density?
back here in the country we have beer and atv's

No I don't mean the actual walnut that you get from the inside.
I mean the thick green outer shell that they have before they dry out.
