I actually feel truly important when it comes to the Space program, as should everyone. Everyone around my age, from this generation who was born and alive to see the space shuttles launch, to see Challenger destroyed and to see Columbia fall from the stratosphere on TV or with their own eyes, and every single individual child, teenager or young adult who watched the last shuttle mission and witnessed the NASA SCA take Endeavour to it's final resting place the past few days, we are all incredibly special. We all grew up through the Shuttle program's infancy and watched it pass away. We are the generation given the opportunity to tell our children and our children's children, yes, we saw the Space Shuttle. We saw it happen, and it was beautiful.
Goodnight, Enterprise, Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour - It was an amazing ride.
Can't wait to see what's next, NASA.
