Im used to SAT scoring, what is the low/average/high for the ACT?
Its an alternative to the ACT administered by a different group, though Im not sure exactly. Its like their competitor.
SAT/ACT's are tests for schools in different parts of the country generally. Most schools on the east coast look at your ACT score, most on the west coast look at your SAT score. If you're going to more difficult schools like purdue, notre dame, and the ivy leagues, then they combine your ACT, SAT and GPA to create a number that (if i remember correctly) is between 0-60 and it basically states whether or not you're good enough. 0 being lowest 60 being highest, of course.
also, kind of irrelevant but I got a 31 on my ACT, never even bothered taking the SAT.
