if the world did not exist it'd be pretty bad

Money is just a relative term for exchange. As long as there is a supply and demand then there will be money. The question might be: If money did not exist as we know it then what do you have to offer in exchange to get what you need to live?

The world did exist before money was invented -believe it or not!- so I'd assume we would continue along the same tracks.
I will trade you 2 pigs and a virgin for that house, my good man.

trading/bartering has worked in the past, it would work again

Well, I guess your saying if we didn't have money. Anyway I would think we would trade everything.

If the world didn't exist money than bartering system would world exist.

In other words we'd just trade items.
