Author Topic: How long does it take for threads to become 'too old' to post in?  (Read 1238 times)

Really?
I thought it was a lot sooner.

I thought it was a lot longer.

You can have the last post in a topic and edit it after(?) 3 months, but it's bannable if you bump it iirc

I'm pretty sure it would only be bannable if you bump an old topic without reason.

It's Irrevirsible Record Counting?

It's Irrevirsible Record Counting?
think about what you just said, "it it's irrevirisble record counting"
also lol at your spelling

I thought it was 60 days

Yeah it's 3 months, used to be bannable if you bumped it, but that's why he made too old to post in. That stopped noobs bumping old topics.

I still wish you could quote from them though

but I guess that would be a bit hard to work that out

Just have it remove the post button when you quote somebody.
I'm guessing it would be possible to do so; eg find out if it's older than three months then if it's being quoted/post contains "[quote ] [/ quote]" and not a post and then if it fits the criteria disable the post button + alt+s

This. I was banned on my first account for doing this. I was stupid at that time now I know better.
