You can have the last post in a topic and edit it after(?) 3 months, but it's bannable if you bump it iirc

I'm pretty sure it would only be bannable if you bump an old topic without reason.

Yeah it's 3 months, used to be bannable if you bumped it, but that's why he made too old to post in. That stopped noobs bumping old topics.

Just have it remove the post button when you quote somebody.
I'm guessing it would be possible to do so; eg find out if it's older than three months then if it's being quoted/post contains "[quote ] [/ quote]" and not a post and then if it fits the criteria disable the post button + alt+s
