Author Topic: Freek might start drumming  (Read 2914 times)

For the past few years I have had an obsession of drumming on my desk. The other day, I was at lunch with my friend, (he is a really good drummer and has been on many radio stations in the area), and he told me that my drumming was pretty good. That made me realize that my drumming has improved a lot and that I just got complemented by an amazing drummer. Should I consider taking drums as an instrument?

Definitely. I learned drums for 4 years but never really got good.
I wanna get back into it though, for sure

i was never really big into music

schools just don't teach what i like :C

Been drumming for eight years (since I was 9)
Totally worth it and fun as hell

Do it

EDIT: Especially fun when you're in a band. Plus, bands are always looking for drummers and bassists

Just start out with cheap set of Ludwig drums
I got mine at a yard sale c:
$100 bucks for the set.
Got a new hi hat and cowbell and those plastic rings you put on top of the drums(forgot what their called), sounds real good.

well I'm being serious. unless he's gonna learn a cool percussion instrument, instead of just lame snares, he should learn something that sounds good. like piano.
course if he doesn't mean just even a drumset, but things like marimbas or quads (or any other tenor set) if he's interested in marching, then ya it totally sounds like a good idea to me

I want to learn to play a drum set.

right now im stuck playing percussion in band class :(

I might save up for a new set if I really get into it again.

I think drums sound really good lol.

I know it doesnt really make a song by itself  but when you just play and do whatever you want it can be really fun. Plus you get to hit things so it relieves stress c:
