Author Topic: Expedition Island  (Read 1398 times)

Hi this is Pablo, here to share a little build I made. Took me about 30mins - 2 hours.

If people request it, a save will be added.

Its cool, However, the sides are too straight, I dont know if thats the look you were going for or not, but a suggestion is for you to try and fix it a little with vines/plants or add more ramps or something to it.

Inspirational. 10/10

Actually, it doesn't seem like much effort, but it's still okay. 8/10

When you take screenshots of your build, bump the shader quality up to max or near it so the shaders don't look so blobby. It's hard to define edges in your build with the shaders on Low.

It looks neat but kinda small.
Also, whats that island in the background on the second shot?

I never said you could rate.

Yeah, the screenshots turned out bad, as for the second island. It was a new island that I was going to do but lost interest.

30mins - 2 hours is pretty loose

FFUUUUUU

35/50

note: the above score is based on terraining skills shown here

this looks perfect for an additional island to pirate DM but otherwise not that great in any respect
main hill of island sticks out without any sloping at all and is pretty unrealistic; green blocks eh. it would be better if you kept them grey and added green bricks on top of the cubes to emulate grass

Points for the plating detail and studding; I'd never expect it to work out so well with this style of clean cubescaping. the breaking up of the top surface of the hill also gets points.

i'm assuming you can do better but just didn't; from what I can tell here it looks like you can. but looks can deceive.

The island in the background of the second shot looks a lot better but lacks underwater sand sloping (terrain doesn't just drop off after it disappears under the water). its somewhat more basic than yours though.

ew whats wrong with your shaders
edit : 2 hours on that small island? phahahahahahahah
