Author Topic: Blockocraft *Accepting block material suggestions*  (Read 3764 times)



Looking for scripters to help me out with this, I do not wish to replicate minecraft exactly, just make a similar one based off of it

I also don't plan on restricting it to only specific blocks in minecraft, nor do I wish to remake every single block in minecraft

EDIT: Now accepting block suggestions, suggest types of bricks and other materials like that

I don't plan on using those; considering that the new scripters I aim to recruit most likely won't be able to work with you and nullable's code

Well, just a heads up - You most likely wont get the quality/awesomeness of terrain that me and nullable's script had. It most likely also wont be 3D - and the current perlin noise in TS script broken (it may not look broken but it is)

I don't mind if its more of a flattish terrain with some bumps here and there similar to minecraft's, as long as it serves a decent house-building survival type surface and has plenty of customization


I could help with stuff other than generation of terrain, etc.

Brian lost interest in coding the project, and Nullable is really busy, so I'm looking for others

I can make ALL the bricks; but only that

I don't know the first thing of generating terrain, and I have 50 bricks done so far, I'd rather they don't go to waste

I could help with stuff other than generation of terrain, etc.

Notch doesen't own anything within the image; this is a non-profit project made to simulate it

For me it's more of that this is not going to work unless culling is implemented in an efficient way.

The top layer of bricks will be generated, tunnels will be created exactly as Red_Guy's unlimited mining is done

or, cubes will be generated in the areas that players cannot see them, and when they are uncovered, they turn into blockocraft bricks

and the terrain doesen't need to be fancy at all, just some height differences here and there is all I ask, along with biomes
