I'm gonna say yes and no.
First, kids are influenced, by the fact that it's "cool", which lead kids to copying lines from the game, which are obviously gonna be profanity of some sort. If you want to take it on more seriously, there HAS been school shootings where violent video games were involved. These are one of the main reasons why ESRB put ratings on video games. Too bad there are a majority of parents in the world who just ignore them because "they love their child". Hell, I wasn't allowed to play M-rated games until I hit 10 years old, when I was mature enough to not to knock off a flower pot on purpose. Teens and adults are usually okay with violence because they have more maturity than children. Also, people tend to get fustrated playing difficult video games, that they get so much rage that they start a killing spree or something, but, it's only a child. Where is he gonna get loaded 9mm?
Also, it's mostly not gonna happen to some kids because either they are confused as forget or are actually MATURE enough to realize "this is a bad idea" and drop off the "say forget stuff rooster in school!!!" or "murder the nearest person!!!!!!". Also, there are parents that are both smart and loving to their child that they avoid their children into touching games with too much violence in it. Besides
you'd have to be pretty dumb to go on violent sprees in real life just because of a video game you played.
In all fairness, it depends on who is the controller.
