Author Topic: Apparently Blockland is Minecraft (???)  (Read 5580 times)

Here's what we need to change. Change the words Blocks to bricks and maybe even add "Lego like bricks" if thats okay. The second thing we need to change is that we start off with "Blockland was originally released in 2004 or 2007).

But I bet you even then they will find something to say we are a copy of. Its actually pretty funny how they didn't even look at the picture.

Minecraft = Many Blocks but same shape
Blockland = Many BRICKS but all different sizes.

FFFFFFFFFFF-rigging unbelievable.
Ah well. I guess that is what the people outside Blockland think of Blockland.

"Oh the second picture is okay, it might look like minecraft but it's about mining....wait"
I see your pain, I'd be more glad if they said it was a copy off roblox since in that way it's similar.

What to expect from a bunch of teenagers on Facebook.

Maybe blockland shouldn't be put on steam if those are the forgettards that will be buying it. I wonder if the Origin store is this bad... (nah just kidding).

what the forget. Kevin has my high school's Patriots symbol. lol?

on topic: yeah the people saying that blockland is a minecraft rip off, obviously never played with lego.  :cookieMonster:

Or they're to loving stupid to actually look at the lego styled bricks.

Personally I just want to go into the future, get a spaceship big enough to hold all of the handicaps who think Blockland is a Minecraft ripoff, and put them into Blockland's best server, and see what they think of it then.

The Minecraft community is stupid anyway.
yeah basically. the game itself is good but 95% of the community is stupid

Buh o,o

Most of my comments on the situation here have already been said to death before this point, but chiming in anyway because this is general discussion :D

The biggest problem with any community comes from the fact you get a lot of people who see their favorite game as the Holy Grail and will immediately complain about anything that remotely nears the game in style. I remember a while ago a Roblox vs. Blockland grade war over the Battlefield and Call of Duty series, with five-year-olds screaming profanities over which game was 'better'. Meanwhile I sit on the sidelines and worry for our future.

Sadly in the case of Minecraft everyone smart seems to stick to the modding community and that leaves everywhere else for people to go 'RAWRAGASGSGSDHSCHSFSFS' to their heart's content. :S

ffs i'm 9 and i know this stuff
