Author Topic: apparently this is why miga left. UPDATE  (Read 5752 times)

I dont like the part where he tries to encourage others to leave too.
agreed.

I can see why he left. No offense, but the forums are a lot different now. I'm not sure if this is nostalgia or not, but there's not much intelligent discussion anymore. Lots of it is forum games, megatopics about alcohol or special interestes or my little pony, or topics that don't really serve a purpose. (would you forget the above user's avatar, list random stuff that nobody will read)

Whenever we talk about anything remotely related to religion, abortion, or marijuana, the topic explodes and gains 30 pages, then fizzles out. Whenever we can sustain our cool is only when everyone's on the same side. People are too harsh to eachother, when they could be a lot nicer. I've been trying to act less hotheaded, thinking people's opinions through. The forums are still pretty cool though, it's a neat little thing that comes with a lot of drama.
You, sir, deserve a medal.

I am curious as to what this "underground community" is.
