A true music enthusiast has no favorite artist, but rather understands and appreciates the talent (or lack thereof) of the artists of his or her music tastes.
that's pretty ridiculous. besides the immense fallacy presented, a music enthusiast can have a favorite artist. not all artists perform their type of music the same. a favorite artist is just an artist that you prefer or enjoy more than others.
ie: "my favorite artist is heedicalking. i love how he can add a classical feel to his songs while keeping them modern. he's also great at working with many genres of music, which I respect. he also responds to his fans and even takes requests sometimes!"
