Author Topic: A good .BLB blender tutorial?  (Read 3439 times)

I want to learn how to make a BLB with Blender, and I know that there's an Obj-to-BLB tool out there.

What types of bricks are you going to be making?

I need a tutorial how to make complex bricks with perfect texture alignment and uv
He probably does too

Texture alignment and UV is the same thing. Siba has been trying to do that for months without any luck.

Why are there no official blb tools
Why do they invent suck a crap inunderstandable brick format
Why can't it just load .obj files or something :c

I really do wish to create this; but as I said before, I lack the OK required to post a .exe on the forums, badspot has already ignored my PM

which is why I'm attempting to create my own, feeding off of blocklands code

I recieved some code yesterday that allows me to finish my Cubic SPECIAL brick generator tho, so one could change the values with that and observe the differences between each .blb

So I should just give you an OBJ model and you can make me a BLB?

Are you looking for the obj - blb tool aswell?

I know! And Badspot probably has a tool that he's keeping private (There's no way he's making door bricks by editing a text file) Probably to reduce the amount of new bricks or something.

Making a 3D model into a working BLB file is easy. The only difficult part is the UV coordinates.
