Author Topic: Colleges you want to go to when your older  (Read 2631 times)

Basically
you post the colleges you want to go to.
Suggestions:
Keep it realistic. -> Most kids with a D/C average wont be getting a scholarship into MIT anytime soon.
use your interests -> If your into CS (computer science) then don't go for some school because they have a good graphic design class...

Please:
Give a reason (why do you want to go to the college)
Location of College (some of them should be obvious. others just do this)
If your in a college then just say the college your in/ones you wanted to go to.

Quote from: Brian Smith
NYU -> I would so want to get taught by Ken Perlin. It also is in NYC which sounds like an awesome place to visit.
University of Pennsylvania -> Has good science I hear? It's in Pennsylvania...

Thats me.

they do not make colleges for my line of work

I will be attending Syracuse later this month, and taking a few courses in Cornell as well.

Eye dun wanna go to college

Not an Ivy League school because that's for elitist pricks IMO

Hopefully California Institute of the Arts. Its not even a mile from my house which is good.

I'll start thinking about that when I actually graduate from high school. Somewhere that has a good science and literature departments I suppose.

I'm currently applying to:

Pennsylvania:
Lehigh
Villanova
Bucknell University

Massachusetts:
Boston University
Northeastern University

Delaware:
University of Delaware

Maryland:
University of Maryland, College Park

Connecticut:
University of Connecticut

New York:
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Geneseo
Fordham University
Stevens Institute of Technology

Ohio:
University of Dayton

Most likely going to get into all, except Villanova and Bucknell.

I'm a legacy at Lehigh so that helps a lot, otherwise I might not get in.

In order:
1.  Lehigh
2.  UDel
3.  UMD
4.  UConn
5.  BU

Edit:

actually laughed a little when I read this

you should realize that you will be taking SATs/ACTs junior and senior year, and working on college essays and supplemental essays during your senior year.

That's not a job, that's a hobby. Unless you have millions of dollars that is. I drive racecars as well and spend 10x what I earn back.

I'm in the college application process right now actually, I'm looking into University of the Pacific, CSUMB, USC, SJSU, Drexel, and there are some others.

I'm interested in technology, but not so much the engineering and programming side of things. It's quite the process, but I'd really like to go somewhere in California.

Hmm

Any film school, really. But that's a tough one.

DigiPen Institute of Technology.

You've played some of their games, no doubt.
