No, I understand, exactly as I described. It's like saying, because aboloshing slavery is inherently liberal, ALL BLACKS ARE LIBERAL ARGGH.
Apparently saying that the majority of something is liberal because it exists due to liberalism is the same as saying that all of that something is liberal no exceptions.
And your slavery brown townogy is not good because:
- The idea of government censorship is still existing. (See wikileaks)
- The idea of slavery is long gone and a black person need not worry that a conservative president or congress will revert us back to slavery
Some examples of how the orientation of the supporting group usually is reflected by a benefiting group:
- The Wall Street Journal is right-leaning. Why? Wall Street is right
- A CEO is against taxes on big business. Why? A big business gives him money
- The US supported the war in WWII but not late Vietnam. Why? In WWII we were attacked and therefore the country had to fight in order for our freedoms to be protected. At the end of Vietnam we were in there for what seemed to be no reason and America was not threatened by the result of that war.
- So most newspapers are probably liberal because government interference is always a threat. It is in their best interest to be on the left.
