dear dusty,

coin flip chance

love, benny

Doubtful. Gallup has him at over ninety percent chance of winning, so pls Gallup don't lie.

or at least i think it was gallup

it sucks how the elections are really put together badly
the electral college system in america = terrible, and in britain it's not great either : \
why can't it just be all the votes counted up and that's it? sure ages ago it would be impossible, but we have the technology, why not just do it?
The electoral college system is supposed to make up for the whole "voters are too uneducated to vote" Im pretty sure

90% Gallup > 90% somewhere > maybe Gallup 80%

okay guys lol

Ah no it wasn't Gallup, it was the New York Times.

Dear electoral college,

please don't be stupid like 48.3% of americans

love, me

The worst thing for those voting Romney in this topic is that they have Ben representing them.

I'm pretty certain Obama is going to be our president for another 4 years. I'm ok with that

Then that's the presidents job to fix that.
It sucks that there are a lot of people that just aren't heard at all. Really.

For example, look at Bisjac. His vote won't even be properly counted, because whatever the state he lives in decides it. The third parties don't even get 1% of the votes because of the electral college system which makes it incredibly hard to change.

That's one reason why someone like Bisjac (sorry for using you as an example) might want to A. vote for a different bigger party or B. not vote at all. You see if someone that doesn't like either big party, but likes one of the big parties SLIGHTLY more than the other it'd be better to vote for them. Since there's no chance of the third party getting any percentage anyway in his state wouldn't it be better to just vote for the bigger party you like more since you'd rather have them in than the other large party.

If you're someone who hates both parties equally then in my opinion it'd be better just not to vote at all as then you don't get signed up for civic duty and such. Just my opinion on that matter though.

Politics should be a mandatory class in high school. The problem with that, though, is how it would be taught considering its incredibly difficult to maintain a neutral, opinion-free lesson on stuff like politics.

I think people should have to take an economical test before they're allowed to vote, that way we can stop the supreme morons from voting someone just because they're white or black from having an effect on our country.

And will probably void the 18 year old dumbass highschool dropouts who will vote depending on who's for legal marijuana

I edited, but yes I completely agree it should be taught in schools at least up until a year or two before exams (sorry I don't know which year that would be in America nor England. Scottish education is weird)

I'm pretty sure that the electoral college is in the constitution

Cause you're so smart and better than everyone?

where in the forget did i say that lol

And the Constitution can be amended, that's why we call them "amendments." The Electoral College is useless now that everyone is connected and smarter in general. Back when it was formed, most of the population were stupid farmers far from any real form of society.
