Author Topic: Everything hacked :D  (Read 2782 times)

um guess what

he probably has a virus that emulated steam's overlay. my guess is he thought it was steam and put his creds in

Who'd go through that much trouble for a loving steam account?

OP, it's because you put your steam information on a website that wasn't the official one, probably a "LOEL PUT UR STEAM ACCOUNT IN HERE 4 20 COPYS OF SKYRIM" scam. Theres no other way, unless you went full handicap and told another guy the username and password for your account.
There are so many more alternatives you're obviously oblivious to.

if you have a paypal receipt or CD key you can get your account back

Lots of people? I know of quite a bit of trojans/viruses that do that, it's pretty easy.

What do you mean "my email adress was hacked too"?

Steam Acct. = Credit Card Information

Was anyone else expecting Jalenharvey?

You're not Jalenharvey. :panda:

Who the hell is Jalenharvey

Probably he found that his steam pass changed, went to log onto his email to see what's up, and his keystrokes were sent to the hacker, giving him his email.

Along with the blogland forums and anything else he logged into.

I talked to steam support and got my account back almost instantly. All I did is say "my steam account got hacked *steam user name and stuff*" and they gave it back.
This was also in 2008 so it might be changed.

So I assume that a whole bunch of RAT and Phishing links will be posted under his account soon?

Who the hell is Jalenharvey
:(
I think he made three(+?) threads about being hacked on Steam. Maybe only two, but I think at least three.

EDIT: You should know this, haven't you been around as long as me?

Probably not. If I was a blackhat, I'd go for paypal, steam, and email addresses first and then use little stuff.
