Country, rock, some heavy rock (Metallica and stuff like that), Kid Rock (he's his own music genre)

I'm not sure how to divvy up the subgenres of of rock, but my favorite bands are The Who, Pink Floyd, and maybe Led Zeppelin.
Metal is either Iron Maiden or Metallica. Black Sabbath comes fairly close, but not quite.
