The whole point of a dedicated server is to have a computer dedicated to running that server, therefore it's just used for running the server. You need a second computer to actually join your dedicated server.

Fixed, it was lowercase

you don't need a second computer, you just launch a regular blockland.

Wrong, you should be able to run both a blockland client and a dedicated server on the same computer, and under the same copy of the game.

Though, same copy of the game may have some bugs, so I recommend running a separate copy. If you know how to do that.

Ok so the way i ran my server was:i took the blockland shortcut went to "properties"
then target then added -dedicated it apparently worked but i still could not access blockland which
is the main issue, maybe their is an alternate way to make a dedicated server you would like to share?

I believe this would go in the help section.

You need two separate shortcuts.
One for the dedicated, one for normal Blockland.

1. Go into Blockland properties
2. Add " -dedicated" to the end of the target
3. Hit apply or ok and run Blockland
4. Wait for the console to say "Dedicated server is now running" (or something close to that)
5. Go back into Blockland's properties and take off the " -dedicated"
6. Run Blockland and hit "Join Game" and then find your server

Note: Make sure you have all the add-ons you want to have in your server enabled before starting your dedicated server.

This is completely and utterly incorrect.

1. Go into Blockland properties
2. Add " -dedicated" to the end of the target
3. Hit apply or ok and run Blockland
4. Wait for the console to say "Dedicated server is now running" (or something close to that)

Or just make a copy of the shortcut

You don't understand, the dedicated server bat is the thing that makes the server. therefore it would not open blockland, you just have to open blockland normally and join the server you created.

How much RAM do you have?
