I actually find the house quite disgusting and generally ugly.
Maybe you think that this is your first attempt at "modern" but I can utterly say that the style lean more towards medieval than modern.
The quite strange exterior wall decor with rounds. bleh
The detailing under the windows. no
The very stout walls and the pointy "roof" gives you castle and pinnacles associations. The very grim color is of course also a a factor to this.
The interior is extremely bland.
