The AK-12 is the newest derivative of the AK-47 rifle, and it uses 5.56x39mm ammunition.  It was designed 2 years ago by Mikhail Kalashnikov and was to be tested last year, and it proved to be as, if not more effective then the AKM.

RUR starts on it's space program.
In addition, we have found the schematics for an advanced tank in the databases from E2.0. It appears to be a tank with a laser defense system that can destroy missiles midair. In addition, it can use this laser system to target moving helicopters and vehicles with the main 320mm battle cannon.
