Dug has been making more advancments than Avalonia. It must be in debt. I think that although the SU does make many advancements, and seems to be a nation born out of a certain element of racism, it shows enough stability to maintain a balanced budget including technological advancement.

You were in 2 wars, you must be in debt. Logical. Even militia require pay at some point just to sustain their families. Even cheap gear costs money. Nations with large mercenary forces don't tend to have stable economies to levy wealth from.

I read Wealth of Nations. Call me out where I've erred in my basic economics. I won't try to void stuff, but I will try to show where stuff does pass a little out of the logic zone and let others change things if they see fit.

Avalonian military continues to train and stuff. Missile defense grids upgraded.

Haha, except that he had the means to investigate the land intensely when a couple of second and third-world countries would not, and did not investigate.
Mines are not hard to find since they're right on the surface in plain sight, so if they weren't revealed before, they most definitely do not exist now.
